” We played well because we had prepared well too. We knew Afc leoards play good football and decided we have to play as well. We intended to remain in the league and the boys accepted to work as we wanted. Relegation got pressure and we therefore asked them to settle and just play not minding pressure and I can say that has really helped us. We are still building on a team and want to be at the top playing at zero pressure ” Coach Salim Babu Nzoia Sugar FC.

Afc Leopards Technical Bench led by Coach Tom Juma.

In any game you can win, draw or loose. We were under zero pressure as we were not contesting for anything neither were we battling relegation. We brought along a very young side with a number of experienced players. When the league started we had ups and downs. We started on a wrong foot courtesy the FIFA ban forcing us into a young team from our youth side. But they have learned too fast and took upon themselves the challenge well. Our objective has always been to win the title unfortunately we are not yet there. I urge our fans to keep up their support, they have been soo instrumental and have carried us. Thanks to them all.” Coach Tom Juma Afc Leopards.
