The success of the content producer may appear to be an overnight success, yet it took her nearly nine months to acquire wealth that enabled her to buy a private car and a home in Kileleshwa.

Evelyn Wanjiku Mungai, popularly known as Mungai Eve, is a Kenyan YouTuber, content producer, and influencer. Mugai was born in Gachiku village, Murang’a county, on April 6, 2000.

Securing millionaire tag

Being an outgoing and go-getter kind of person who was fitting well with the life of the city, she opted to polish her journalism abilities by doing interviews with residents on the streets.

Her YouTube channel, ‘Mungai Eve,’ has become one of Kenya’s most popular, with over 528000 followers and 88 million views as of May 2022.

Eve states that in a good month, she may make up to KES 1.5 million ($15, 000) and in a poor month, she can receive nearly KES 700,000 ($7,000), putting her one of Kenya’s youngest millionaires.

Dropping out of school

After dropping out of school to pursue content creation, the 23-year-old rocketed to fame on YouTube in 2020.

People were captivated by her one-of-a-kind material, in which she interviewed and recounted the lives of Nairobi slum youngsters.

She has built her brand and is the official brand ambassador for Odibets, a well-known Kenyan betting firm. She also has a large following on other social media sites, such as Instagram and Facebook, where she promotes and influences brands.

Lavish life

She presently lives in the affluent urban core of Kileleshwa and owns a Toyota Crown. In any case, she now has both the financial prosperity and the celebrity that every young person in this generation desires.

Mungai Eve and her devoted lover and partner recently purchased a house and a car.

She came to Instagram to show off her new Toyota crown, which cost Ksh 3 million.

Recently, the couple purchased a two-bedroom flat in Kileleshwa, one of Nairobi’s most desirable areas.
