Singer Akothee Blasts Sibling
Kenyan singer Akothee has left her followers wondering if everything is okay between her and her siblings after she posted a cryptic message on Instagram.
The controversial singer was addressing a sibling who has been constantly hurting her. The single mother of five urged her followers to always make sure they maintain their peace and composure in such situations.
“Well there are those siblings who will constantly hurt you, cause you pain and feel like nothing happened cease and desist. Guard your peace. Sijataja mtu,” the self-proclaimed president of single mothers wrote.
“Kila mtu akae kwa mlango yake, aishi maisha yake. We are siblings by chance not by choice, but I choose peace any day,” said the singer, who is currently on a music tour of Canada.
Akothee and her sister Cebbie, born Elseba Awuor Kokeyo, have previously disagreed. Akothee accused her sister of betrayal after a chat between Cebbie and a friend that leaked online painted a negative picture of the Hayakuhusu hitmaker.
The president of single mothers has been providing information about how hurt she is ever since Cebbie revealed details about her sister in the leaked conversation.
In a previous interview, Cebbie claimed that she and her sister just had sibling rivalry, which is common among children.
In response, Akothee said that the competition between the siblings was only a front for envy and that her siblings were jealous of her.
