G4s Staff Caught Ferrying Bhang

  •  On Friday 9th June 2023, police from Nambale arrested two suspects who were transporting bhang towards Nairobi.
  • The vehicle was flagged down at Nambale stations gate, and the suspects will be arraigned in court on 12th June.

On June 9th, Police from Nambale arrested two suspects in Busia who were transporting bhang worth 900,000 shillings using a G4s lorry.

On its way to Nairobi, the vehicle was impounded along the Busia-Nambale road when the officers flagged down at the station’s gate and recovered two boxes containing 30 kgs and 50 rolls of bhang.

The two suspects (Oketch and Omondi, aged 50 and 26 respectively will be arraigned in court on Monday 12th June 2023.

The National police service has thanked the Kenyans who gave the information about the suspects, “we thank the members of the public for their support”, the National police service says.
