Updated salary pay of IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati and Juliana Cherera

Serving as a commissioner on the IEBC brings all of its efforts to fruition.

Chebukati and his colleagues received large monthly salaries while working for IEBC when they took over.

However, service in the IEBC is limited to six years before being replaced by other commissioners

According to the Salary and Remuneration Commission (SRC), the Chairman of the IEBC, now Chebukati, is paid KES 925,000. Allowances are not included.

Juliana Cherera salary

Juliana Cherera, the vice-president, takes home 766,000 Kenya shillings.

IEBC commissioners also receive allowances, luxury cars, free airtime, and security.
