Olive Gachara is a highly driven and self-motivated entrepreneur who began modelling business at the age of 19 after graduating from high school. She undoubtedly has deep pockets, shown by her investment in the Lion’s Den.

She deserves a lot of credit. Many people are still figuring out what they want to accomplish at the age of 30, let alone having received many honours.

Deferring studies for business

She chose to defer college studies and dedicated herself to creating her own modelling business, Kinky. She was studying sales and marketing while running the agency.

The road to success was not easy because delaying studies at university was not an easy option. People, including her parents, questioned her decision, but business at the agency eventually picked up.

“The modelling business developed so quickly that I was startled. So we started doing promotion for events like supermarkets and later fashion shows,” Olive explained.

“I quickly became a fashion stylist, and it was simple since it was natural to me because I used to style models, do their portfolios, and their makeup,” she explained.
