DEMONSTRATIONS SHALL CONTINUE AS PLANNED-TUSITISHWE!

Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance Leader Raila Odinga has affirmed that the Monday and Thursday demonstrations will continue as planned despite the excessive use of force by the police. Speaking at Imara Daima in Nairobi today, he quoted that the Kenya Kwanza government has failed to honor their demands of lowering the high cost of living and therefore demonstration will be the only way to raise their voices. He pleaded that the government should reinstate the IEBC officials and open the IEBC servers.
This happened a day after the Governor of Kisumu County Prof. Anyang Nyong and the Nairobi City County governor, Johnson Sakaja seemed to throw harsh words at each other over the ongoing demonstrations; Kisumu governor banning all the protests in his county and directing all the protestants to join Mega demonstrations at Nairobi whereas Nairobi governor returning back to the sender. Sakaja claimed that Nairobi was a business hub of several Kenyans and not only Nairobians. He emphasised that demonstrations in any part of the county could not be tolerated with and the involved culprits will be dealt with. Now the question is, how long will the demonstrations last? What shall be the outcomes incase it persists?
