Pesa Otas: Diamond Platnumz’s Manager Reports The Artist Earns Kes 14.3 Million Per Performance

Diamond Platnumz’s manager, Sallam SK, has disclosed how much money Diamond earns for each performance.
SK disclosed how much he is paid for each show during his appearance on Wasafi FM’s Jana na Leo show on Wednesday.
He stated that the musician will be performing a series of gigs starting in May of this year.

“Diamond’s show payout is widely known. It depends, but it is at least a hundred thousand dollars [Kenyan Shillings 14.3 million],” he stated.

The manager, who also owns a radio station, remarked that it is justified given Diamond’s stature and the full team he brings to the stage.

“Taking a small amount is impossible because you know when it comes to costs, you have climbed onto the stage with 20-30 people, and then you say you are doing a show for 10 million [Tanzanian Shillings], what are you paying the others?” discussed the manager.

“If you’re spending 200 million shillings to build a high-quality stage, shouldn’t the artist who will climb it be paid the same amount?

So it’s not only about the entry charge at the door; there is a greater need to ensure that when a person steps onto that stage, he gets branded.

What should happen if he gets up? That is why you see business on TV. So we need to know exactly how to do the market so that the artist may grow,” SK stated.
