Mulamwah opens up on the difficulty of co-parenting with his ex, Carrol Sonnie
Kenyan comedian David Oyando alias Mulamwah has expressed his desire to help in the upbringing of his child with his former girlfriend, actress Caroline Muthoni, popularly known as Carrol Sonnie.
While engaging his fans in a question and answer session on Instagram, the father of one however claimed it has not been easy for him to be involved in his daughter’s life.
He claimed that whenever he sends money or gifts to take care of his two-year-old daughter, it’s returned to him.
”I’m try to support but ni hard. Unatumiwa pesa zinareversiwa. Ata Birthday, Nimetuma gift, ikarudishwa so inakua tricky sana. Sijui shida wapi jameni ” Mulamwah replied to a fan who wanted to know if he was helping in the upbringing of his daughter.
The 30-year-old comedian noted he does not understand where the problem is between him and his ex-girlfriend.
Recently, Sonnie was overcome with emotion after being asked if Mulamwah is helping her with the upbringing and care of their daughter.
Although she could not directly answer the question, Sonnie seemed to lean towards the fact that since Mulamwah made it clear on social media the child is not his, he has never looked back and probably does not provide any care for his daughter.
Sonie asked Youtuber Nicholas Kioko to ask Mulamwah that question because he is the one in the best position to answer whether he helps in the upbringing or not.
“Aaah, to be honest, I don’t want to talk about those stories too much, you know we will get out of there. What’s important right now is Keilah is doing well, she’s growing. But I also feel the person you mentioned [Mulamwah] should be asked the right question, a question like [Sonie laughed] … we all know he rejected his child. I don’t know why you don’t ask him that question t”Is it true you rejected your daughter” Carrol Sonie answered in a tense manner.
The actress emphasized things might be fine if Mulamwah is asked the right questions about the growth of his daughter Keilah.
“You should ask him questions like ‘Keilah is your child, yes or no’” Sonnie gave a guide of questions to the Youtuber.
Mulamwah and Carrol Sonnie separated at the end of 2021, just a few months after their daughter, Keilah Oyando was born.
