Kanambo Dede dropped out of school when she was 14 years old following a disagreement with her mother. Kanambo Dede’s situation worsened after she turned 16. She become pregnant, forcing her to move back to her mother’s home. Life turned out more challenging while there. She was then driven to look for employment to sustain her newborn child because her mother alone, could not afford it.

Kanambo, like any other hardworking Kenyan, was out hunting for something to feed her small child.
This is when she met Kasaboss, a Youtuber who was roaming around the streets performing random freestyles.

Kanambo was given the opportunity to display her talent as an artist. The recorded clip turned viral in the media, attracting prominent personalities. King Kaka, the CEO of a Kaka empire record label, was among them.

Kanambo Dede impressed King Kaka, who offered his backing. He swiftly took her to the studio where Kanambo recorded her debut song .

Later, King Kaka could seek permission from her mother to bring the 17-year-old rapper into his family. Which she agreed to. Kanambo was brought back to school and resumed her studies where she had left off.

King Kaka covers all of her school education and looks after her child. Regardless, the great rising rapper is signed to Kaka Empire.
