Gachagua tasks sons to track down lady who nicknamed him ‘Riggy G’

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has summoned his sons to track down the lady who coined his now famous moniker name Riggy G.

Gachagua has taken in the name like a duck in water and wants to have dinner with the lady should his sons, as expected, succeed in the easiest hunt job in history.

Easiest as the lady in question is one Ivy Chelimo, a law graduate from Catholic University of East African (CUEA).

“The young lady who decided that the name Rigathi Gachagua is a little bit difficult and not melodious, and thought to give me the name Riggy G, I said it’s a good name. To encourage our young people, I took up the name with good stride. I have told my sons to look for that girl to come we have dinner,” Gachagua said in an interview with Citizen TV.

The second in command is open to lending his help in any way, financial included.

“I want to encourage that young girl and I will see what I can do for her. I can see from my salary to boost her so that she will be able to do something,’ he added.

Chelimo, who says she coined the name by chance during the pre-election Vice Presidential Debate, could not believe her luck after hearing of the invitation.

“I have shed tears but never like tonight. Waaah God really saw and heard me. Who is God?! Y’all I’ve cried today,” she Tweeted.
