Police Discover 3-Star Hotel Menu in Mackenzie’s Shakahola Home

  • Mackenzie and his scouts were found enjoying a balanced diet and engaging in agricultural activities, exposing the hypocrisy and deception within the cult.
  • Mackenzie deliberately avoided using technology in financial transactions, relying on cash-based dealings to deceive followers and avoid leaving digital traces.

A recent visit to the Shakahola Forest by Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has shed light on the disturbing practices of rogue preacher Mackenzie and his cult.

Kindiki took to Twitter to share his findings from the visit, unveiling the contradictions within Mackenzie’s operation.

Surprisingly, menus from a 3-star hotel were discovered in structures within the Shakahola Forest, suggesting that Mackenzie and his scouts were enjoying a balanced diet while simultaneously promoting starvation among their followers. This stark contradiction exposed the hypocrisy and deceptive nature of Mackenzie’s teachings.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Mackenzie had constructed dams for irrigation and was cultivating various food crops within the forest. This stark contrast to his radical teachings of mass starvation raises questions about Mackenzie’s true motives and the manipulation of his followers.

Cash-Based Deception

CS Kindiki also shed light on Mackenzie’s financial transactions. It was discovered that Mackenzie deliberately avoided using technology in financial dealings, relying heavily on cash transactions.

This cash-based approach allowed him to con individuals without leaving digital traces, complicating efforts to fully understand the extent of his monetary deception. These revelations expose the need for enhanced financial oversight within religious organizations to prevent such abuses.

Judicial Oversight

CS Kindiki expressed concerns regarding the role of the judiciary in the Shakahola affair. He highlighted that the majority of the bodies exhumed were of individuals killed and buried after Mackenzie’s release on a meager cash bail of Ksh.10,000.

These revelations raise questions about the effectiveness of the judiciary’s oversight and responsiveness in preventing further atrocities within the cult. The judiciary must address these concerns and provide answers to the people of Kenya regarding their actions during the time the events at Shakahola were transpiring.
