Trade and Investment cabinet secretary Moses Kuria admitted that he regrets sponsoring Eric Omondi’s trip to the United States. Eric omondi slammed the government for not giving out the best they had promised during the campaign period. and the government was addressing the wrong issue as many Kenyans are suffering due to the high cost of living. he added that the government needs to lower the cost of products first rather than forcing Kenyans to contribute to the housing agenda.

“Today we are having the wrong conversation, we are talking about housing, the conversation should be about the high cost of living,” Eric said.

In a past interview with a writer, Eric Omondi admitted that he and Vincent Mwasia alias Chipukeezy had been invited by cs Moses Kuria to the United States for the official launch of the cs tv station. He said Moses Kuria had asked Chipukeesy and him to travel ahead to establish contact with media personality Trevor Noah who was also invited to perform at the event and cs Kuria fully paid for their travel and accommodation for five days.
