Peter Salasya, the Member of Parliament for Mumias East, appears to have made more enemies than friends on social media recently.
He has been arguing with socialite Huddah Monroe for the past week, but his conflict has shifted to Andrew Kibe.
According to the media, Kibe and Salasya began fighting each other on Instagram on Thursday after the furious YouTuber posted a video condemning Salasya’s ‘local’ behavior despite being a respected member of the community.
When Salasya responded, he wrote a long paragraph on Instagram yelling at Kibe that he who considers him an idiot should already be a member of parliament, while also claiming that his wealth is double that of Kibe’s.
“It doesn’t matter how many videos you make on your YouTube telling the world how I’m a piece of shit, as if when you die you’ll be buried in Nairobi CBD or Tom Mboya Street, and I’m laughing as if you’re the broiler, it will never change your life,” Salasya said.
“I want to remind you that you will never be a member of parliament in your life and, mimi fala but I am richer than you,” Added Salasya.
The member of parliament vowed to strangle Kibe even more, claiming that he would not sit quietly and have his name tarnished with mud by the YouTuber, who has a history of attacking people with nasty phrases and words.
“Now, I’m going to stop your nonsense. You’ve abused people’s children for a long time because they were unable to control you, so let’s go; remember, I’m a politician with nothing to lose on this internet. I only use social media for fun. My people don’t care about what happens on the internet; they care about what I do for them; I have survived all of life’s tests,” continued Salasya.
The confrontation occurred just a few days after Salasya apologized to Kibe for allegedly not following his advice over Huddah Monroe.
Kibe responded that he would now respect him as the first person to see the sun.
