In a show of solidarity, his Jacaranda Bunge La Wananchi colleague Mr. KimbiKimbi has publicly proclaimed that he will await Okanga’s results as he does for Presidential results during elections.
According to the comedian, Okanga’s KCPE is a test from President Ruto, not a hurdle to overcome.
He further informs his colleague (Okanga) that if KNEC shortchanges him and awards only a few points, they will stage protests if the Supreme Court fails to render a fair ruling.
“Shikilia hiyo ni majaribio ya William Ruto, utaipita. Tutangoja matokeo. Tutasimama na wewe. Wakikuibia wakupe marks kidogo tutaenda Supreme Court. Wakikataa sababu Supreme Court imetuzoea tutaandamana juu. Wakikataa tunatafuta Bi-partisan talks(“Hold on that is William Ruto’s test, you will pass it. We will wait for the results. We will stand with you. If they steal from you and give you few marks, we will go to the Supreme Court. If they refuse because the Supreme Court is used to us, we will protest. If they refuse, we are looking for bi-partisan talks).”
He warns Okanga, however, that failure will result in harsh punishment; not treading on Jacaranda Grounds.
“Akikosa kupita Jacaranda asikanyage,”Kimbi Kimbi came to a conclusion.
Okanga’s decision to take the KCPE this year garnered mixed comments from supporters, with some congratulating him and others stunned.
