Kimani Mbugua buys cameras and video equipment with Sh500,000 contribution.

EX Journalist, Kimani Mbugua has expressed happiness after buying cameras and video equipment through the donation he received from good Samaritans.

Through a video he uploaded on his TikTok page, he took the opportunity to thank all Kenyans who stood by him when he was going through difficult situations recently.

“I want to get back to you and say thank you for all your support and love, especially here on TikTok,” he said.

He explained he has used the money in an effective way by buying equipment that will enable him start content creation.

“I’m so happy, you can see it on my face, I’m so happy, and I just want to say thank you to each and every one of you who gave me whatever amount of money they made.” he added.

Mbugua explained how he used part of the money to get new video recording equipment, as well as loudspeakers.

In a state of excitement, Mbugua announced he is going back to the streets to start work which he says he is happy to do.

He will start his work on the street where he grew up.

“I am here at home, Thika, Makongeni is my place, this is where I grew up, so I am coming back here as a journalist,” added Mbugua.

According to him, he will be interviewing people in the streets of Thika while doing other things on the streets.

“Having fun like we always do, so look, it’s coming soon, but for now, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed,” he said.

Recently, content creator Nyako made a contribution through her TikTik Live page, to help Mbugua get back to his feet, where Nyako fans were able to contribute about Sh 500,000.

The most interesting thing is the money was collected in an hour and a half, showing how people were committed to support him.
