Mutahi Ngunyi Predicts Uhuru-Ruto Reconciliation

  • Renowned political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has expressed his belief that former President Uhuru Kenyatta and President William Ruto will reconcile their differences shortly.

Ngunyi, known for his insightful analysis of Kenyan politics, took to social media to share his perspective, highlighting the significance of a potential reconciliation between the two influential leaders.

Mutahi Ngunyi statement

Ngunyi’s statement comes amidst the strained relationship between Kenyatta and Ruto, who have been on different political paths in recent years. However, Ngunyi firmly believes that Kenyatta and Ruto will put their differences aside and work towards a harmonious relationship for the greater good of the country.

The political analyst pointed out several intriguing occurrences that have sparked his optimism for reconciliation. He noted that Kenyatta recently met with Chief Minister Musalia Mudavadi in both Burundi and Nigeria, emphasizing that these encounters were not mere coincidences. Ngunyi believes that these meetings serve as an indication of President Kenyatta’s willingness to engage with other political leaders and potentially pave the way for future reconciliation efforts.

According to Ngunyi, Ruto stands to benefit greatly from reconciliation with Kenyatta.  Recognizing this dependency, Ngunyi argues that Ruto needs to mend fences with Kenyatta to solidify his political standing and increase his chances of success.

Similarly, Ngunyi highlights that Kenyatta also has a vested interest in reconciling with Ruto.

Will Ngunyi’s prediction materialize?

It remains to be seen whether Kenyatta and his former Deputy will indeed put their differences aside and reconcile. Only time will tell if Ngunyi’s prediction will come to fruition and if the two leaders will embrace the role of peacemakers for the greater good of the country.
