Kylian Mbappe, the star forward of Paris Saint-Germain, has dismissed rumors of his departure from the club and pledged his commitment to PSG amidst speculation of a potential transfer to Real Madrid.
In a recent interview with France 3, Mbappe stated that his immediate focus is on winning the Champions League with his current team, having already come close to achieving it in previous seasons.
“The next step for me is to win the Champions League,” Mbappe stated. “I have already been in the final, semi-final, quarter-final, and round of 16. I have experienced everything but winning. That is all I am after right now.”
When asked about where he would like to win the coveted European title, Mbappe made it clear that he wishes to achieve it with his current club, stating, “Where do I want to do it? In Paris. I am a Parisian and under contract. So, it’s PSG.”
Mbappe’s comments come amidst intense speculation regarding his future, with reports suggesting that Real Madrid have made him their top target for the upcoming transfer window.
However, the French striker’s latest remarks seem to have put an end to the rumors, at least for the time being, and have reassured PSG fans of his commitment to the club.
