Kiptum’s Father Reveals Unknown People Visited His Home Before Son’s Tragic Death

Four days before Kiptum’s passing, Cheruiyot revealed that he had an unexpected visit from four people who claimed to be Kenyans but would not give their identities.

The reason for their presence is still a mystery.

Marathon Runner record holder Kelvin Kiptum passed away tragically, and his father, Samson Cheruiyot, recently talked about the deep effect his only son’s loss had on his family.

Cheruiyot emphasised the vacuum created by Kiptum’s premature departure as she conveyed their current state of intense pain and emptiness.

Cheruiyot’s evening was cut short when he heard that Kiptum’s vehicle had been seen, and he hurried to the scene of the collision. Sadly, when he got there, he learned the sobering truth that his kid had already been taken to the hospital, along with another passenger and his Rwandese Coach Gervais Hakizimana.

Recounting their recent talk, Cheruiyot mentioned their plans, which included building a new house. Kiptum had expressed confidence in his physical condition and discussed his goals of running for one hour and fifty-eight minutes in the upcoming marathon.
