Eliud Kipchoge reacts to Boston Marathon performance

Eliud Kipchoge, widely regarded as one of the greatest marathon runners of all time, has reflected on his recent performance at the Boston Marathon where he finished in sixth place.

Despite the disappointment of not achieving the result he had hoped for, Kipchoge remained philosophical and grateful for the support he received from fans.

“I live for the moments where I get to challenge the limits,” said Kipchoge. “It’s never guaranteed, it’s never easy. Today was a tough day for me. I pushed myself as hard as I could but sometimes, we must accept that today wasn’t the day to push the barrier to a greater height.”

Kipchoge went on to congratulate his competitors and thank everyone in Boston and from home for their incredible support. He expressed his humility and gratitude for the encouragement he received despite not achieving his desired result.

“In sports you win and you lose and there is always tomorrow to set a new challenge,” Kipchoge said. “I am excited for what’s ahead.”
