The academy is in Nambale, Busia County, western Kenya. It is believed to encompass a sizable unit of land. The academy is one of only a few found in African countries. When completed, the academy will be among the most technologically advanced to have ever existed in the world.
It will also house a higher number of students from around the country as well as internationally. The primary objective will be to identify and nurture local talent to assist grow football in the country.
Visiting the wanyama’s Football Academy
The academy houses several contemporary football facilities. This contains various indoor stadiums, training grounds, and a school where students will participate in academic and extracurricular activities.
From the entrance, can be seen an administration block, where all events will be taking place. Including where coaches and teachers will guide students through various lessons.

We also have a freshly installed reception area where visitors to the football academy will be warmly welcomed. Upstairs, we have offices that will deal with different players’ signings and transfers.
The location also offers a unique classroom with chalkboards. To teach the students field drawings.
They also offer an elegant relaxation area. Students will be able to use the space to play video games and watch sporting events. The classes are well-organized and have fewer students per room.
We also have instructors’ quarters as you walk through the corridors. This will accommodate those who wish to stay within the Academy premises. There are also plenty of dormitories with double-decker beds where students can sleep at night.
The Busia football academy, according to Macdonald Mariga Wanyama, is almost ready for kids to enroll and start establishing their future in sports.
