KUCCPS opens placement services.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened a window for 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candaidates to apply for placement or revise the choices of the course.

Speaking on Friday May 20, education cabinet secretary George Albert Magoha ordered KUCCPS to open it’s portal to allow the students start submitting their applications stating that those who got a mean grade of C+ and above will be placed in universities.

“All the 144,446 Kenyans with C+ and above who sat for the 2021 KCSE examinations are eligible to apply for degree programmes in 70 universities.” Magoha stated.

CS Magoha also notified the 2021 KCSE candaidates who obtained a mean grade of C plain and below to also consider applying for courses in TVET institutions and Teacher Training Colleges.

Application should be done online through the KUCCPS students portal, students.kuccps.net which is accessible through the placement service website www.kuccps.ac.ke.
