My name is Jeremiah Njuguna, from Nakuru. I’m 32 years old, and for years, my life was just one long road of disappointment. I had finished college with good grades, full of hope and dreams, but reality hit me hard. I applied for so many jobs that I lost count. Sometimes I’d even get shortlisted, attend interviews, and still be told, “We’ll get back to you.” But they never did.
Every morning, I’d wake up, iron my only official shirt, print more CVs, and walk around town from one office to another. The sun would beat down on me, my shoes would get dusty, and I’d go home with nothing but tired feet and a heavy heart. My friends who once encouraged me stopped calling.
