Actress Trisha Khalid has openly expressed her anger after receiving an electricity bill of Ksh 54,000 in one month, yet she normally pays Ksh 8,000. Trisha could not believe the sudden change and went online to ask Kenyans why KPLC would do that to her.
She explained that for a long time, her monthly bill has been steady at Ksh 8,000. But this month, KPLC sent her a shocking bill of Ksh 54,000. She reported the matter to KPLC customer care and is now waiting for them to correct it.
According to Trisha, KPLC might be trying to con her. She also believes many Kenyans are facing the same problem of exaggerated bills due to KPLC’s mistakes.
“I suspect they just want to con me. I’m still waiting to see if they will rectify it,” Trisha said.
On the other hand, content creator Yvette Obura also shared her frustrations, saying that her tokens are finishing too fast. She wondered if the issue was affecting everyone or if something strange was happening.
