  • Mumias East MP Peter Salasya announced a new job that will boost his income by Sh400,000 monthly.
  • Salasya signed a deal as a brand ambassador for a Dubai-based real estate company, Capital Partners.
  • He opposed the motion to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, urging key senators to vote against it.

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has secured a lucrative deal with a Dubai-based real estate company, significantly boosting his monthly income. The young politician shared the news on social media, revealing that the contract will see him earn Sh400,000 monthly. This development comes amidst ongoing political events surrounding the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, which Salasya actively opposed.

On Friday evening, Salasya announced through a video post that he had signed an embassy deal with Capital Partners, a Dubai real estate firm. The contract appoints him as the brand ambassador for the company, which plans to introduce its projects in Kenya. The MP expressed excitement over the opportunity, declaring, ”While you were busy impeaching I was busy signing deals for as a brand ambassador for a mega Dubai international real estate company! 400k a month is my win!!!!!

Let’s build each other!!!” He wrote.

In the video, a representative from Capital Partners praised Salasya for his influence and impact on their event, expressing gratitude for his involvement.

The announcement comes at a time when Salasya was vocally opposing the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Salasya took to social media to warn Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna that voting in favor of Gachagua’s dismissal could harm his long-term political ambitions. He also urged Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah to stand with the people who trusted him, though the Senate ultimately supported the impeachment.

Peter Salasya’s new role as a brand ambassador for a Dubai real estate firm marks a major milestone in his career, enhancing his income significantly. Even as he focuses on this new opportunity, his political stance and involvement in key national issues, such as opposing the impeachment of Deputy President Gachagua, continue to shape his public profile.
