- Pritty Vishy confessed she can’t do common household chores.
- Says chores feel overwhelming, not laziness.
- She prefers using professional cleaners.
- Believes she must work hard and get rich to outsource everything.
Kenyan content creator and social media personality Purity “Pritty Vishy” Visram has stirred a heated online debate after openly confessing that she does not know how to wash clothes, fold laundry, scrub dishes daily or even wipe a TV stand, and has no plans to learn.
In a set of brutally honest videos on her socials, the 23-year-old did not mince her words about her struggle with domestic work.
“I don’t know how to be wife material,” she said in Swahili. “I have never even been a mama fua at any point in my life.”
Vishy stressed that her challenges have nothing to do with laziness. According to her, household chores simply feel overwhelming and unnatural, even though she enjoys a clean and organised space.
“Carpet, bed, kitchen counter – I just can’t,” she said, laughing. She added that she fully embraces outsourcing. “That’s why cleaners exist. Let’s promote them – I will keep promoting them.”
Her long-term solution is straightforward: make enough money to outsource everything.
“At this point, I have to be rich,” she declared. “I can’t love cleanliness and still be poor.”
The remarks quickly split opinion online. Some young women praised her for rejecting society’s traditional “wife material” expectations and speaking openly about personal limitations. Others accused her of normalising over-dependence and misleading her Gen-Z followers by making basic skills seem optional.
Relationship coaches and lifestyle commentators jumped into the conversation, insisting that, however modern relationships become, basic life skills remain essential for everyone. But Vishy’s supporters argued that in 2025, emotional compatibility, financial stability and mutual respect matter far more than who washes the dishes.
Pritty Vishy first gained mainstream attention during her relationship with rapper Stevo Simple Boy, and despite their public breakup, she has continued to carve her own lane in Kenya’s digital entertainment scene.
