The video of Oga Obinna negotiating a multimillion-shilling deal for Dem Wa Facebook has gone viral online, eliciting conflicting opinions from netizens, particularly on TikTok.
Obinna was negotiating a deal with a supermarket with 11 locations across the country, and they wanted Dem Wa Facebook to impact their Christmas gifts for around two months. The retailer offered her Ksh. 250,000 per month.
However, Obinna refuted it, claiming that Dem Wa Facebook is a huge brand and that they will benefit greatly from her, thus they should pay her ksh.500,000 per month, which is their rate card. They can take it or leave it.
The supermarket manager informed Obinna that they would need to discuss it first before deciding whether it was possible. Obinna even went on to say that Dem Wa Facebook often charges ksh.120,000 per event to perform at.
