  • He lost two YouTube channels (one with 99,000 subscribers and the other with over 20,000) and TikTok accounts (including one with 200,000 followers)

Kenyan content creator Truthwatchdog, famed for exposing illegal businesses and scams in the country, has suffered a major setback after losing all his social media platforms. His YouTube channels and TikTok accounts were terminated, leaving him without his primary source of income.

In an interview with Presenter Ali, Truthwatchdog shared the emotional story of how his platforms were taken down. He lost two YouTube accounts, one with 99,000 subscribers and another with over 20,000 subscribers. In addition, all his TikTok accounts were permanently banned, with one boasting over 200,000 followers.

According to Truthwatchdog, his TikTok ban was driven by his support for activist Morara Kebaso. He explained that a group of individuals approached him to falsely accuse Kebaso of scamming Kenyans, but he refused. In retaliation, they worked together to report his TikTok accounts, leading to their suspension by TikTok.

As for his YouTube channels, Truthwatchdog admitted to minor violations, which ultimately resulted in their permanent termination. The loss of these platforms has hit him hard, as they were his main source of income, providing for his family, including his children and adopted kids. He expressed his deep disappointment and worry, as the sudden shutdown has left him unable to earn a living.

Truthwatchdog’s story highlights the challenges content creators face when navigating online platforms. Now left without his primary income, he is calling on Kenyans to offer support during this difficult time as he looks for ways to rebuild his online presence.
