Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua breaks his silence and explains how he has been missing meetings and events of national importance attended by Government leaders and the President since being removed from the WhatsApp group.

During an interview with Citizen television on Friday the 20th, Gachagua stated that he was not the only one removed from the group, but also his work team. He stated that this has become a problem because he does not know the president’s plans or where they would travel together.

“For the past week, we were removed from the group, and we had no way to monitor what the president and his team were planning to do. When I know where the president is going, I usually arrive, but now I don’t know where he plans to go,” said Gachagua.

Furthermore, Gachagua emphasized that it is only through the group that he can get all information from the president’s leaders in the state house, claiming that they were removed alongside his private secretary so that they would not see the president’s plan.
