AFC Leopards club coach Tomas Trucha has expressed concern about the terrible condition of the Thika stadium, which serves FKF premier league football matches.

Coach Trucha’s protest came following AFC Leopards’ one-goal victory over Bidco United on Saturday, 21.

Photos emerged online of AFC Leopards players wearing their jerseys in the open because the stadium lacks a dressing room.

Coach Trucha has stated that the Thika stadium should never be used for major league matches in the country due to the lack of dressing rooms and bathrooms.

The coach has complained that he did not enjoy the match at the Thika stadium and has requested that the essential stakeholders follow the instructions to organize league matches at the best stadiums.

“We have to comply with the rules, and we need dressing rooms. If you want to help yourself, where do you go?” Trucha questioned.

The FKF football federation issued a list of alternative stadiums including Thika stadium due to ongoing renovations at the Kasarani Stadium and developments scheduled to begin at the Nyayo Stadium.
