Erveline Kareika, a 31-year-old lady from Mugambaciura hamlet in Kirinyaga county, shocked many by claiming to have swallowed a sewing needle.
Everline stated that she is going through a difficult time and has not yet had any treatment, and she has appealed for assistance from Good Samaritans in financing her treatment.
In an interview with media, her husband Kelvin Maina stated that the incident occurred while he was feeding their eight-month-old kid, when She completed sewing and put a needle in his mouth, only to swallow it quickly.
Furthermore, Maina claims that his attempt to take his wife to the hospital in Embu was in vain. despite spending sh.800 for an x-ray.
Also, Mr. Maina claims that this was not their last journey and that they went to Kerugoya, where they were charged 10,000 sh.
“We are afraid that we might lose her and so I came to you to ask for help so that he can get more treatment” stated Maina with sadness.
