Reports suggest that Manchester United are gearing up to make a move for Harry Kane, and are not willing to wait until the end of the season before opening negotiations with Tottenham.

The club is said to be hopeful of agreeing on a deal worth around £80 million for the star striker.

Kane has been in sensational form for Tottenham, establishing himself as one of the best strikers in the world. He has scored 215 goals in 327 appearances for Spurs, while also winning two Premier League Golden Boots and being named the Premier League Player of the Month six times.

United’s interest in the Englishman is not new, with the club having been linked with him for some time now. However, with Kane’s contract set to expire in 2024, the Red Devils are looking to take advantage of the situation and secure his services before it’s too late.

If the move does materialize, it will undoubtedly be a major coup for Manchester United. Kane’s ability to score goals and create chances would be a huge asset to the team, and could potentially help them challenge for major titles once again. Only time will tell if this deal comes to fruition, but one thing is for sure – Harry Kane would be a major signing for any club lucky enough to secure his signature.
