“She was a choir member like me, and we were all members of the Evangelism team called the North Rift evangelism team,” Ruto, the president-elect, explained.

“She was sent to Kessup Girls High School for teaching practise, and I was generally close, so our love story began there.” “The rest is history,” Ruto said.

After tying a note in 1991, the two have seven children together.
