Pastor Ng’ang’a Gives Hawkers Sh410K To Grow Their Businesses

Diligent On November 12, James Ng’ang’a, the preacher of the Neno Evangelism Centre, surprised forty-one of his parishioners who work as hawkers.

The preacher encouraged the hawkers to use the money he was giving them to expand their businesses when he made the announcement during the awarding ceremony.

Additionally, the preacher exhorted the small company owners to organise a group and assist one another in growing their businesses.

“Ntawapatia kila mtu Sh10,000, nataka muwe na kikundi nyote mjuane muanzishe kakitu yenu, muwe na kachama yenu,” Ng’ang’a said.

Netizens praised and criticised the preacher for his gesture. Some argued that the change was insignificant because he had taken more from the members in the form of contributions and tithes, while others praised him for his kindness.

Ng’ang’a has continuously made headlines for a variety of reasons. In October, he cautioned degree holders to avoid his church, encouraging them to join churches with brief services, hinting that dealing with spiritual things required a different approach than dealing with academic matters.

“Wale watu wa degree, don’t come to my church. Kwenda kanisa zenu mkaongee dakika mbili mtoke. Na mnakunywa dawa za pressure. You can’t control spiritual matters,” Ng’ang’a said.

The pastor underlined how crucial it is for individuals to appreciate one another, regardless of their educational backgrounds.

“Na wale watu wasomi, please respect one another…” he said.

Pastor Ng’ang’a took the opportunity to share his perspective on how educated individuals have negatively influenced the world, highlighting issues such as homosexuality.

He claimed that learned individuals have played a role in propagating such matters.

“Wale watu wameharibu dunia nzima ni wasomi. Mimi nilitoka na hii injili 1989. Na nikihubiri nyinyi mnaotaka kuniambia sitahubiri mlikua shule mkisomea hizo makaratasi.

“Na usifikiri mimi utanitisha. Muweke mipaka sababu kuna waganga na wachawi na mnajua mahali wako… Kuna devil worshippers Nairobi, na mnajua pahali wako na hamjafunga,” he said.

He said that after being anointed, people who do not return to his church will not be accepted.

The pastor stressed the value of the congregation’s financial donations, stressing how crucial they are to the church’s survival and ongoing operations.
