Kipchoge has preserved his name in the marathon event for more than a decade.This has made him the most decorated athletes in history of the sport. The 38-year-old is the world’s only man to run in less than two hours, in the INEOS challenge.
In the Boston marathon, Kipchoge finished 6th Crossing the finish line behind Evans Chebet, Tanzanian Gerald Geaey, and Kenyan Kipruto.
The Boston marathon winner received $150,000, which is equivalent to Kenya shillings 20 million, according to the 2022 prize package. The second and third prizes are $75,000 (Kenya shillings 10 million Kenya) and $40,000 (5 million) respectively.
