Khaligraph Jones to battle with Diamond and Fally Ipupa for prestigous award

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has been nominated for the Album of the Year award at the 2023 East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA).

He will be competing against top artists such as Fally Ipupa and Diamond for the prestigious award.

Khaligraph Jones has been nominated for his album “Invisible Currency”, which features hit songs such as “G Like That” and “Roll With You”. The album, which was released in 2022, has received critical acclaim and has been a commercial success in Kenya and across East Africa.

Fally Ipupa, a Congolese singer, has been nominated for his album “Formule 7”, which features collaborations with top African artists such as Burna Boy and Diamond Platnumz. Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian singer, has been nominated for his album “First of All”, which includes hit songs like “Waah” and “Jeje”.

Other nominees for the Album of the Year award include Barnaba Classic, Mbosso Khan, Sat-B, and Harmonize. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, in May 2023.

The EAEA was established in 2021 to recognize and celebrate the best talent in East African music, film, and entertainment. The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts and are open to artists from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan.

The Album of the Year award is one of the most coveted awards at the EAEA and is seen as a reflection of an artist’s creativity, talent, and impact on the industry.
