Jalang’o in Bunge Team for East Africa Games

Jalang'o to feature at East Africa Games

Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwour is in the team that will represent Kenya at the 2022 East African Parliamentary Games to be staged in South Sudan later this year.

The former TV actor and radio presenter Jalang’o, will be part of the Kenyan basketball squad that has started residential training at the Nyayo National Stadium in preparations for the tournament. 

The 39 year-old Jalang’o who defeated Nixon Korir to clinch the Lang’ata constituency parliamentary seat in August says he has started intense training as a guard

“Getting ready for the East African Parliamentary Games! I play basketball as a guard.

fitness ndio bado iko mbaya but a few games and training will get me on track,” Jalango said.

Other MPs who will represent Kenya at the games include Senate majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Nyali representative Mohamed Ali, and Webuye West legislator  Daniel Wanyama.

Cheruiyot will captain the Kenyan football team famously known as  Bunge FC while Wanyama is expected to skipper the volleyball team.
