Gengetone artist Ex ray lands a deal with Deputy president Ruto

“Sipangwingwi” has been the phrase in everyone’s lips especially for politicians . Sipangwingwi was released by Exray featuring Trio Mio and Ssaru.

Exray Taniua is a member of gengetone group Boondocks which has other members including Maddox and Odi Wa muranga.

Sipangwingi quickly became a hit in political circles as well – particularly among Deputy President William Ruto’s supporters and the DP himself who started weaving Sipangwingwi into speeches.

Ruto saw it as the perfect term of what he considers an attempt by three of Kenya’s political families to take control of affairs of the nation for years to come. The hustler, as he has branded himself, made it clear that he does not take instructions from the ‘dynasties’.

Yesterday on Friday 8 April Rutos anthem was released  .The song  sipangwingwi was remixed featuring snippets of deputy Ruto’ speech .This came barely a few hours after NCIC body had banned the use of the phrase “Sipangwingwi’ since it was an  incitement word which is used to bring hate among Kenyans.
