  • The shop is located along the road and sells multiple products such as shoes, jackets, and T-shirts.

Since the release of his video capturing him working in a mjengo, the veteran musician has been on the trend from different media sources. According to him, he was working on the building site to aid his cancer-stricken mother. Various musicians, including Jaguar, and friends have since come to his rescue. They swiftly raised almost a million to help the musician.

Colonel Mustapha’s Nairoi shop

The rapper took viewers around his shop in a recent interview with mungai eve which is off Kangundo Road, near Hurlingham Nairobi.

This store is known as the ‘Mus’s shop,’ which is taken from his stage name, ‘Mustapha.’

In the shop, he sells shoes, jackets, t-shirts, and trousers among other products. He stated that he intends to expand to other parts of the country targeting extremely cold areas to sell Jackets.

He claims people have been visiting and supporting him since his mjengo video clip went viral.

“Watu wengi wamenisuport sana, wengine wanakuja kununua na wengine wanasema hawataki kununua ni kusaidia tu. “Mimi nimewaahukuru sana,” Mustapha stated as he thanked everyone who was helpful.

He went on to remark that the journey had been difficult since most people referred to him as a beggar after the video went viral.

When asked about his mother, Mustapha informed Mungai Eve that he is doing fine as she is still recovering from medication.
