Orengo’s daughter ties the knot in a multi-million wedding

Siaya Governor James Orengo’s daughter, Lavender Orengo, tied the knot Friday in a lavish wedding that was attended by close family and friends including Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Pomp, colour and razzmatazz awashed the ceremony as Lavender married her fiancee Albert Adur in Karen, Nairobi.

Present at the ceremony were the bride and the groom’s parents and close family members as well as members from the ODM Party.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga was flanked by Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo and Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi.

Lavender’s fiancee Adur is a pilot and has been spotted many a times with Raila Odinga, prompting many to question whether he is the enigma’s pilot.

Odinga and Orengo have become close political friends over the years, so much so that it almost feels criminal to think they were in opposing camps as recent as 2002 during the famous Raila Declaration of ‘Kibaki Tosha.’
