Harambee starlets ace Shikangwa set to join Tanzania’s Simba Queen’s.

Kenyan international forward Jentrix Shikangwa is said to be closing on a deal to join Serengeti Women Premier League heavyweights Simba Queen’s FC.

The 20 year old former Vihiga Queen’s FC goal scorer is said to finalizing the deal and she’ll sign a one year contract with the 2022 CECAFA Women Club champions.

Shikangwa who has traded her skills in Turkey will join her Harambee starlets trio of goalkeeper Pauline Kathuru, midfielder Corazon Aquino and striker Topister Situma who were recently roped in from Fountain Gate Princess, Gaspo Women FC and Vihiga Queen’s FC respectively.

The former Wiyeta Girls’ Secondary School prodigy has been plying trade in Europe with Fatih Karügümrük Spor since January 2022 until when her deal expired in early August.

Also set to join the Dar Es Salaam based outfit is former Eldoret Falcons FC centre back Ruth Ingosi.

Ingosi is also said to have agreed personal terms with Simba Queen’s and will ink down a one year deal.

The highly rated player has been trading her skills in Greece with Lakatamia FC, a place she joined after working with AEL Champions in Cyprus.

Simba are building up their squad that will represent the CECAFA region at the second edition of the CAF Women Champions League that will be held at Rabat, Morocco later this year.
