A man From Kitale Gets back his Dowry from In-laws.

Wilberforce Murunga from Kitale, Trans Nzoia County has delivered out his excitement and happiness after the court ruled out justice in his favour.

The Kitale Court granted Murunga his wish to refund back his dowry from In-laws in Bungoma.On Saturday Wilberforce Murunga and his Brother Fred Mutambayi proceeded to Kiungani at the Chief’s office to pick his three cows and a goat from In-laws.

This happened after the Kitale Mediation court ordered that the given bride of three cows,a she goat and Kshs.20,000 be given back to Wilberforce.

According to the Reports given by the family, Murunga had paid Kshs.50,000, three Ayrshire heifers,One cross Ayrshire Bullock,One She goat,One pair of Gumboots and a hat as a bride price in April.

“I am excited and happy that the court has done justice for me.Since the agressor happens to be a lawyer I never thought I would win this case and I thank God.” Murunga said.

Murunga passed a Message to his Ex-wife Saying that now they are not husband and wife anymore and now she is free to move on since the dowry has been refunded.

Murunga had Issues with his ex-wife Irine Khasoa which lead to divorce and their Marriage was dissolved on October 12, 2021 by a kitale Court.
