Today a sad video have been making rounds in the social media .In the video, a middle-aged woman and her son were mercilessly whipped by men who are said to be her in-laws .
In the video, the elderly man beating Mama Kwamboka is heard accusing her of being disrespectful to his brother (it is unclear whether he is referring to Mama Kwamboka’s husband or another brother).
The lady has been identified as Mama Pacificah Kwamboka and her son Alfred .The three perpetrators at the centre of domestic violence have since been arrested .
Ironically ,their arrest irritated the locals who were up in arms ready to storm the homestead and once more assault Kwamboka for drawing the attention of the police leading to the arrest of the three.
Minutes after their arrest ,the locals flooded in the compound of Kwamboka whose body was oozing blood which prompted the intervention from the area Chief Tom Ondiro and officers from Oriwo police station.
Reports shows that Kwamboka was married to an elder man as the second wife which was against the wish of her in-laws. The in-laws are said to be in the verge of kicking her out so that they can inherit the man’s land since Kwamboka had a son who stood as a benefactor in lands inheritance.
Mama Kwamboka was taken to Rachuonyo county hospital for medical examination.At the hospital she treated and given some painkillers .She is set to undergo an X- Ray as she complained of chest pains .
Netizens were quick to condemn the naughty incidence and among them are prominent people like reknown Kenyan lawyer Steve ogola who has taken a step further into the matter and has promised to Give fiftty thousand Kenyan shillings to fund Kwamboka’s medical expenses.
“I have talked to Mama Kwamboka, her son Alfred, and eldest daughter Emily Moraa. She is in great pain but is yet to receive medical treatment. I’ve sent the family KSh 50,000 for medical treatment.”
Kwamboka later be required to fill the P3 form .
