Kenya’s education minister has asked academics to suspend a planned teachers’ strike previous national examinations.
The national union issued a strike notice when pay talks with the govt unsuccessful.
The education minister aforementioned youngsters belonged to everybody, as well as the academics, which they “shouldn’t be like chess items to be vie with”.
“If they like, they’ll issue it [strike notice] right away when the exams, it’ll be target for the youngsters,” he said.
