For years, Samuel, a man from Kisii, Kenya, lived a confusing life that many people could not understand. He had a good job, earned a steady salary, and even did side businesses, yet he was always broke. No matter how much money came in, it disappeared almost immediately. Bills piled up, debts increased, and savings never lasted. “People thought I was irresponsible,” Samuel shared, “but I knew something was wrong. I worked hard, but poverty followed me everywhere.”
Samuel’s financial struggles were not ordinary. Sometimes he would receive money and before even using it, an emergency would come up. Other times, he would lend money and never get it back. His phone would ring constantly with people asking for help, and somehow he could never say no.
