A Vietnamese national has come forward with serious accusations after she was allegedly attacked and assaulted by a group of Chinese men in Nairobi’s Kilimani area. The woman says the ordeal started at the popular Galaxy KTV club, where she was reportedly taken against her will.
According to her statement, the men dragged her into a vehicle and drove her to a private location in Lavington. There, she says, she was violently assaulted. She alleges that her clothes were ripped and she was beaten with sticks, while pepper was also used in the attack.
Officers eventually rescued her from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), who took her back to her boyfriend. The woman was then rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital for medical treatment and trauma care. She has since recorded a formal statement at Kilimani Police Station.
Although some parts of the case remain unclear, police have confirmed that a report was filed and investigations are underway. Detectives have begun reviewing CCTV footage, checking hotel logs, and interviewing potential witnesses. Medical reports will also be used to support the probe.
Nairobi police have assured the public that the matter is being handled with seriousness. Investigators have vowed to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served, as forensic teams work to verify the woman’s claims.
