  • Police are reportedly aware, but are expected to protect hired goons
  • Gen Z’s peaceful protests at risk of violent infiltration

A chilling report by KTN News has laid bare an alleged plan by influential UDA figures to unleash organised violence against Gen Z protesters set to march on Wednesday.

At the heart of the plot is William Kamket, reportedly receiving instructions from two powerful Statehouse operatives, according to insider revelations shared by the station.

Rungus, said to have been manufactured in Nanyuki, are already in Nairobi, ready for deployment. The aim? Break up protests, intimidate the youth, and create chaos.

Politicians and Goons in the Picture

The exposé further links the plan to a well-known governor, a high-ranking UDA MP from Rift Valley, and two Mt Kenya lawmakers.

Sources say multiple closed-door meetings have been held, with groups of hired youths already recruited from Kibera, Mathare, Korogocho, and Kayole.

These gangs are allegedly being prepared to assault women, steal phones, and create a wave of fear among peaceful demonstrators.

What’s even more worrying is the report’s claim that police officers are not just aware of the plan, but are expected to offer protection to the violent groups.

If true, this paints a grim picture of state-backed suppression against a generation peacefully pushing for accountability.

“Everything is already in motion. They want to silence Gen Zs through fear and force,” one source told the station.

Gen Zs, who have largely maintained orderly and creative protests, now face the risk of provoked violence and planted chaos.

With the planned nationwide demonstrations set for Wednesday, the latest revelations add tension and uncertainty to an already charged atmosphere.

While there has been no official statement from those named in the exposé, pressure is now mounting on law enforcement and human rights bodies to act swiftly and protect peaceful demonstrators.

What was meant to be a non-violent expression of discontent could quickly spiral if the alleged plot is not exposed and stopped in time.

As Kenyans brace for Wednesday, many are left asking: Will the state protect or provoke its young people?
