Terry Muikamba, a cherished voice in Kenyan radio, is bidding farewell to the airwaves after an illustrious 12-year journey. Announcing her decision on December 27, she reflected on her career and hinted at exciting new opportunities in the pipeline.

A Teenage Dream Realized

Muikamba’s radio career began in May 2012 at Family Media Radio, where she turned her teenage dream into reality. She joined Royal Media Services’ Hot 96 FM in June 2016, hosting hit shows like Rhythm Junction and The Rewind, earning her a loyal fan base.

Climbing the Ladder of Success

In December 2017, Muikamba moved to Classic 105 under the Radio Africa Group, co-hosting Classic Overdrive with Mike Mondo. Their chemistry and lively hosting style became a hit with listeners.

In December 2020, she expanded her horizons into television, hosting the Mega Deals Show on KTN. A year later, she returned to Hot 96, bringing her signature vibrancy to the afternoon show, The Rewind.
