Ingwe shot stopper Levis Opiyo has narrated out that an unidentified Gor Mahia steward has been using witchcraft against him during Mashemeji derby.It has been noted that Opiyo has made several mistakes resulting into goals during Mashemeji Derby.
During an interview on the TikiTaka show ,he revealed that certain off-pitch forces have affected his perfomance on the matchday.
“The derby isn’t played on the pitch only,there is someone at Gor Mahia ,a steward,who was my friend when I was at the club.God has revealed to me what he does before the derby.Everytime I enter the stadium,I feel weak,during the warm up,which doesn’t happen to my teammates,” Opiyo noted.
According to Opiyo,the steward greets him before every Mashemeji derby and ensures that his actions takes effect,leaving him at a disadvantage.
“He always greets me before the match and makes sure it happens.He watches me closely throughout,” he added.
When I played for Gor Mahia ,we were close friends.But it’s like he’s affecting me from the sidelines,using black magics.Everytime I play in a derby I feel unusually weak,and it only happens in those games.” Opiyo narrated.
