Bradley Marongo, also known as Gen Z Goliath, reunited with his mother for the first time since becoming famous.
Bradley, who has been touring the country for over a month and carrying out endorsements, visited his parents in the Chavakali area of Vihiga county over the weekend alongside his manager.
He shared a video on social media of joyously hugging his mother upon returning home. The parent couldn’t contain hER joy as She met and welcomed son home.
“I traveled 378 kilometers to meet my mother,” Bradley explained.
The tall young guy who rose to prominence during the Gene Z protests appeared delighted to return home, as seen by the videos and images released.
In one video, he was seen unloading some of the excellent things he had brought to his parents’ house, while in another, he was seen eating meals prepared by his mother.
“East or West, the home is better,” He said.
Bradley’s weekend visit is said to be his first since becoming popular nearly two months ago.
Earlier this month, the mother appeared in an interview, accusing him of neglecting her since he got famous and urging him to remember her.
She was interviewed and revealed that her son had stopped picking up phones after becoming famous a month ago.
“Bradley doesn’t even answer the phone when I call…the two managers are keeping him…it’s difficult for him to contact me…Bradley’s mother stated, “I was in Nairobi when Bradley left Mombasa for the first time; he never visited where I live.”
Bradley later stated that his mother’s statements that he abandoned his family after becoming famous were incorrect.
Responding to these allegations, the tall young man said he calls and even sends them money.
He indicated that his mother’s biggest issue is that she expects him to accompany her wherever she travels, referring to a recent plane trip to the coast.
“I always send them money, and even when [mother] arrived in Nairobi, I gave her money, which I still use. The problem is that my mother wants me to accompany her,” Bradley explained.
“Ako, lakini sasa shida ya huyo msichana vile sikuwa na doh, akaamua kutoroka na vile tuliachana na yeye alienda kuoleka kwingine…sahii vile nimeanza kushika elfu tatu, nne, tano hivi, amesema sisaidii mtoto..na ashaolewa” he added.
